Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Standard Cancellation Timeline

At Crest Homes Uganda, we understand that plans change. Our refund eligibility is based on the following windows:

Cancellation Window Refund Amount
48+ Hours before Check-in 100% (Minus Transaction Fees)
Less than 48 Hours before Check-in 50% of the total booking
After Check-in / No Show Non-refundable

2. Gateway-Specific Terms (PayPal & Pesapal)

Please note that refunds are processed back to the original payment method. The following conditions apply:

  • PayPal: Refunds are subject to PayPal's processing times (usually 3-5 business days). Any "dispute" or "chargeback" opened without first contacting Crest Homes management will void the automatic refund process and be handled via the formal PayPal Resolution Center.
  • Pesapal & Mobile Money: Refunds for payments made via Pesapal (Visa/Mastercard/Airtel/MTN) may take up to 7-10 business days to reflect, as per the aggregator's settlement cycle in Uganda.
  • Transaction Fees: Please be aware that transaction fees charged by payment gateways (typically 3% - 5%) are non-refundable by the providers and will be deducted from your total refund amount.

3. Extenuating Circumstances

In rare cases of travel bans, natural disasters, or property maintenance emergencies on our end, Crest Homes Uganda may issue a full 100% refund or offer a credit for a future stay, regardless of the 48-hour window.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email info@cresthomeuganda.com with your Booking ID and reason for cancellation. We process all requests within 24 hours.
